About HUVC

The International Relations Conference is hosted by the Harvard Undergraduate Voters Choose (HUVC), which is a recognized student organization by Harvard College focused on improving American democracy through electoral reform, activism, civic education, and engagement. We believe that education, especially when cross-cultural such as this conference, is crucial to building a stronger, open-minded democracy. Only when individuals come together for a better education can voters make informed decisions at the polls. We believe the goal of better representation and democracy should be shared by all, regardless of political affiliation.

Our movement started in May 2017 on a simple premise: we want elections to work for every American and put an end to an age of polarized politics. We started out by conducting civic education sessions at elementary schools in the Boston suburbs and have since expanded our operations worldwide to reach more students. We are a team of U.S. residents from many states and many different backgrounds, but we are united on the premise that the People command both their democracy and the rules that structure it.

If you are interested in future collaborations with HUVC outside of this conference, please contact us as we are always interested in empowering our partners.
